Gausman went 12-2 with a 2.77 ERA for LSU this season.
The Orioles have agreed to terms with fourth overall pick Kevin Gausman, according to Mike Scarborough of Tiger Bait. Gausman will receive a $4.32 million signing bonus, according to Keith Law.
Gausman completed his physical in Baltimore earlier today.
There were reports earlier this week that Gausman would be returning to LSU, but most just saw it as posturing.
Gausman went 12-2 with a 2.77 ERA and 135 strikeouts in 123.2 innings for LSU this season.
A 6’ 4″, 185 pound right-hander, Guasman features a mid-90s fastball, a power curveball and a developing changeup. He has an easy arm action, high leg kick, and a projectable body that could add 15-20 pounds.
Gausman immediately becomes the Orioles’ #3 prospect right behind RHP Dylan Bundy and SS Manny Machado.
