- MLB has confirmed that Catcher Brian Ward is suspended for 50 games due to a 2nd violation of the minor league drug prevention and treatment program, according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko.
- The Orioles have acquired Catcher Chris Robinson, according to MASN’s Steve Melewski. He hit .316 last year in AAA Iowa.
- The Orioles optioned Zach Phillips to AAA, according to Melewski. He was the final cut.
- Duquette said there is no resolution on Dana Eveland yet, according to Melewski. He was designated for assignment earlier this week.
- Tommy Hunter will be game two’s starter this season, according to Melewski. Brian Matusz will start game four, and Wei-Yin Chen will start game 5.
- Brad Bergesen will likely be the opening day starter for AAA Norfolk, according to Melewski.
