Notes
- Jake Arrieta threw 4 innings today in a minor league game. He stayed on the mound for two extra outs in the first and third innings to increase his pitch count. He threw 63 pitches, 45 for strikes, according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko.
- Jonathan Schoop has yet to play in any games due to a minor knee injury. However, he should get into games soon, according to MASN’s Steve Melewski.
- Matt Hobgood met with the Orioles doctor and surgery has not been recommended yet. Hobgood is expected to meet with Dr. Craig Morgan, whom is a shoulder specialist, according to Melewski.
- Zach Britton said it would be tough for him to be ready to break camp, according to MLB.com’s Brittany Ghiroli.
