The Orioles won 3-1 against the Minnesota Twins today.

Their current spring training record stands at 5-6-2.

Notes

  • Robert Andino hit a HR off the scoreboard.
  • Scott Beerer had a bases-loaded RBI Single to break open the 1-1 tie.
  • Chris Davis went 2-4 with a double.
  • Ronny Paulino went 2-4 with a double
  • Chris Tillman pitched 3 1/3 innings with 4 H, 1 R, 1 K, 2 BB allowed. He threw 51 pitches, 28 for strikes.
  • Dana  Eveland pitched 3 perfect innings with 1 K.
  • Troy Patton pitched 1 1/3 innings with 3 H, 0 R, 0 K,0 BB allowed.
  • Oscar Villarreal pitched 2/3 of an inning and recorded the save.

 

  • Pitcher Matt Hobgood has been shut down at spring camp and will see a doctor in the next few days, according to MASN’s Steve Melewski.
  • Showalter on Tillman,  “I feel good about where he is. His arm is a lot further along than it was last year at this time.”, according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko.
