Orioles Agree to Terms with Taiwanese LHP Chen Wei-Yin

The Orioles have agreed to terms with Taiwanese LHP Chen Wei-Yin, according to Dan Connolly. The deal is for three guaranteed years, according to Connolly.

Chen, 26, posted a 2.68 ERA, 5.1 K/9, and 1.7 BB/9 in 164 2/3 innings for the Chunichi Dragons. You can read a scouting report on Chen Wei-Yin here.

Chen Wei-Yin will presumably fill another slot in the starting rotation and provide much needed depth.
