All three of Welty’s RBIs came on two separate two out hits and SS Pedro Florimon also recorded a two-out single in the sixth inning that drove in a run.
  • Bowie’s offense exploded for 12 hits Monday, the first double-digit hit game they have had since August 13. They also scored nine runs, which is the highest tally the team has recorded since scoring 12 in a win against New Britain July 31.

  • Aberdeen tied a season-high with 16 hits in last night’s win at Connecticut. 15 of the hits were singles. Ryan Zrenda’s triple was the IronBirds’ only extra base hit. Glynn Davis, Austin Knight, Mychal Givens, Adam Davis, Dudley Leonora, and Martin Serrata all had multi-hit games. Everybody in Aberdeen’s starting lineup had at least one hit. The IronBirds also tied a season-high with 14 men left on base.
