  • The Tides will hold Susan G. Komen Night on Thursday, August 18. The first 2,000 ladies 18 &

  • Matt Angle has hit .346 (46-for- 133) in 31 games with the Tides since June 30.
  • Kyle Hudson has been on fire since returning to the Tides on July 17. The outfielder has recorded multiple hits in 15 of the 25 games played (and at least one hit in 21 of 25 games).

  • Michael Ohlman has reached base in 17 consecutive games and has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games.
  • Luis Noel is now the all-time Shorebirds win leader with 21.
  • The Delmarva Shorebirds game against the Lakewood BlueClaws has been postponed due to rain on Sunday. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, August 16.  Game one of the doubleheader on Tuesday will begin at 6:05 p.m. The Shorebirds and BlueClaws will play game one of the series on Monday, August 15 at 7:05 p.m.

  • Right-handed pitcher Travis Strong has been transferred back to Aberdeen from Delmarva. Strong began the year with the IronBirds and posted a 1-0 record with a 2.25 ERA in six appearances (16.0 innings of work). While with the Shorebirds, Strong struggled. He went 0-2 with an 8.31 ERA in seven outings (8.2 innings).
  • Narron had one of his best offensive games last night against the Crosscutters. The IronBirds’ third baseman went 3-for-3 with two RBI. It was his first three-hit game and first multi-RBI effort this season. Prior to last night, Narron had just three hits in his previous 48 at bats.
