Although he struggled in his two starts for Bowie, Oliver Drake seems to have mastered the Carolina League. He pitched to a 1.13 ERA with just 6 walks and a 4.58 GO/AO ratio in 32 June innings, while holding opponents to a .222 batting average.
Relief Pitcher of the Month – Clayton Schrader
Clayton Schrader made 7 appearances during June and didn’t allow a run until his final outing of the month. On the month he struck out 19 hitters in 12.1 innings while holding opponents to a .136 batting average.
