Scouting Report: 18th Round Pick Bradley Roney, 3B, Wetumpka HS (AL)

Don’s Thoughts: Roney is a Southern Mississippi signee and a very under the radar type player with his lack of National showcasing, other than a wood bat showcase in Tennessee last summer.

He has a solid arm and shows enough athletic skill that could translate long term to third base. He has the ability to put on a good 20 pounds of muscle on his 6’2″ frame, and looks the part of a professional baseball player from a pysicality standpoint.

He flashes some skill with the stick, showing a sligthly natural uplifting swing. With some refinements and instruction, he could hit for power.
