According to Shorebirds Director of Broadcasting Bret Lasky, Parker Bridwell has been added to the Delmarva Shorebirds’ roster (from Extended ST), and is set to make his 2011, and South Atlantic League debut tonight.
Bridwell was the Orioles’ 9th round selection in last year’s MLB Draft, and signed for an over-slot bonus of $625,000. He will wear #35.
We ranked Bridwell as the #9 prospect in the system coming into 2011, while Baseball America had him as Baltimore’s #12 prospect.
