Published by Jordan Tuwiner on April 6, 2011

The Orioles have released 13 prospects this spring:

  • John Mariotti
  • Daurin Tavarez
  • Chad Thall
  • David Anderson
  • Danny Figueroa
  • Joseph Donaldson
  • Gary Helmick
  • Joe Gaetti
  • Anyi Tejada
  • Grolmann Gonzalez
  • Freuny Parra
  • Austin Rauch
  • Jeremy Shelby

Chorye Spoone will get the opening day start for the Baysox and he’ll be followed by Steve Johnson, Rick Zagone, Tim Bascom and Eddie Gamboa.

Baysox Blog poses questions for the Baysox as they enter 2011. Can Manager Gary Kendall, a Baltimore native and the Aberdeen manager from 2008 to 2010, take the Baysox back to the playoffs and bring the first Eastern League championship to Bowie?
