- On top of that I’ll have the normal end of the month posts — System Leaderboard, Prospect Stock Market and Players of the Month.
- Bluefield plays a double-header tomorrow — which will be their last two games of the season. I’ll have a season recap for them as well.
- Tomorrow I’ll be releasing two new features:
- Game notes – You’ll get game notes — which include stats, previews, etc. — before every game of the season (Norfolk, Bowie, Frederick, Delmarva, Aberdeen).
- Team pages - Links to standings, rosters, schedule, game notes, posts and transactions for that team.
- I also have a new rosters page up. Rosters for Bluefield, GCL O’s, DSL O’s and a key will be posted shortly.
- If you have any requests – whether it’s a feature, a post or just about anything — drop it in the comments.

What happened to Jesse Beal, he’s only pitched once since July 22?
Injury or just shut down due to innings limit? He has had a very solid year at Delmarva
He’s out with a tired arm – I doubt he pitches again this season.
Just simply fatigue….he just no longer had anything and the Orioles simply wanted him to be fresh next season, so Jordan is correct. He was only slated for 120 innings from my understanding with my friend Mark.
He did enough this year to really set himself in discussions of legit prospects. He might not have the ceiling some others have in the Orioles system, but he is guy to watch closely. He could be a sneaky player in the system next season.
I agree with your last paragraph. It’s tough to get by if you don’t strike out a bunch of guys but Beal has plus-plus command and could become a really unique pitcher.
Will be interesting to see where his velo ends up…
