I was at the Norfolk game last night and Patton looked great. Besides the fourth inning, his control was great and he almost always had an 0-2 or a 1-2 count on a hitter. Also, Pat Egan looked very good/

Adam Sobsey of Durham’s IndyWeek.com has a terrific write-up of the 8/24/10 Tides/Bulls game. Even though it is a Bulls oriented article, it has some good stuff on the Tides:

I have followed Adam’s coverage of the Bulls over the last few year and I do not know of any Minor League reporter who goes into as much detail. He really provides tremendous insight into the game, the players, and the manager. Following his reporting, fans truly can be invested in the individuals as well as the team (and sometimes even the parent organization).

In terms of the Orioles affiliates, Daniel Gallen at The Dagger seems to provide the most in-depth paper/blog coverage of games and teams. The Baysox have the best post-game articles of any of the individual teams, and Brett Lasky gives informative and daily information on the Shorebirds at his team blog.

I agree with you on that. The Baysox do a very good job with post game recaps and Bret Lasky does a very nice job keeping up with everything. I receive game notes from the all the teams which will probably be published daily next season, but I think the teams need to do a better job of keeping regular fans updated.
