Notes:
- As I noted a few days ago, Jonathan Schoop was in fact promoted to Bluefield.

Gotta mention how impressed I’ve been with Townsend. Local kid from Lewes DE playing here on the shore. He has a great swing and read pitches well. Stroke is a little short, which currently results in a lack of big power, but he consistently drives the ball to all fields. As an organization, we are still missing the big HR threat at 1B, bu with Hughes, Snyder, Mahoney, Waring, Widlansky and Townsend, I’ve gotta believe that one of them will emerge from strength and conditioning with a lillte more pop and not lose the solid points they bring to the table now.
Good to hear, thanks for the report! He has been impressive, he just needs to stay healthy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the nod to Frederick at some point this season.
