Realistically, do you see any players getting promoted soon?
We could see a Pedro Beato promotion soon, maybe Jim Hoey.
MiLB.com has an article on IronBirds starting pitcher Jusin Moore who held Hudson Valley hitless for 6 innings on Friday. Between Moore and relievers Jason Gurka and David Walters, only 1 Renegade got a hit.
The IronBirds placed 1B/OF Tyler Kolodny on the DL retroactive to 7/1/10. He played on 6/26/10 and then missed the next 3 games with a wrist injury. He attempted to come back on 6/30, but left after his first at-bat. One report mentioned that his wrist was still bothering him, while another report mentioned a foot problem.
Aberdeen also placed 1B David Anderson on the Temporarily Inactive list.
Mike Gonzalez, pitching for AA Bowie, gave up a home run in his second straight game.
MiLB, also, has an article on BabyBird catcher Michael Ohlman at their Appalachian League Notebook site.
