Notes and Transactions
- Randy Henry played his first game for the IronBirds after a stint on the DL due to strep throat.

surprised that Avery is in Frederick i thought he was a kid
They tend to push young hitters rather quickly.
What the deal with L.J. Hoes playing in Aberdeen? Is he on a rehad assignment?
That’s correct. He’d been out with strep/sickness, I believe. He should be back up to Frederick in the next couple of games.
Ryan Berry, err, I mean Rollie Fingers… I see his walkout music now….bow..che…che…bow…wow….
Is it just me or has Matt Angle pushed himself to the point where he should be getting a look and DFA Lou Montanez?
Ha, tweet from Dempsey’s Army last night:
I’d love to see Angle up here. Lou isn’t doing anything and Angle isn’t going to gain anything else at AAA, he’s polished and is what he is.
Angle’s time has come. D is an obvious shortfall at the major league level, and this kid covers a lot of ground.
I’d like to see them bring Angle up and send Montanez down.
