Scouting Report (via Pat Hickey):

A senior draftee out of Mount Olive, a Division Two college in North Carolina, Nowak is a switch-hitting corner outfielder that pieced together a 35-game-hitting streak in 2010. Nowak showcases good power, speed, arm and has a solid-average understanding of the strike-zone. He went 26-for-29 in stolen base attempts, and also pitched for Mount Olive, earning two saves out of the bullpen, striking out 12 in 6.1 IP.
