Scouting Report (via James W. Fisher, who’s seen Jordan in person):

  • Big righthander who’s fastball sits 87-89 touches 91
  • Curveball is slurvy but does have good 11-5 action sometimes
  • Changeup is developing but doesn’t use it much
  • Was hit hard by good hitters (Dwight Smith 2011, Chris Tripplett 2010 and Andrew Toles 2010).

  • 6′ 2″
  • 205 lbs.
  • Throws: Right
  • Bats: Right

This is another player that looks unlikely to sign, but will be followed closely during the summer by Joe Jordan.

    Why do you think he won’t sign. I know his parents and they sounded like he intended to.

      That’s good! It’s just extremely rare to see someone with his talents sign this late in the draft.
