Overall Thoughts:
Gonzalez has average stuff and relies on command & control more than anything. There’s obviously no such thing as a ‘safe’ HS draft pick, but Gonzalez is a guy who could move through the system quickly, as he’s rather polished for his age. The Orioles stayed away from projectable high school pitchers in this draft.
