Scouting Report (via Scout.com):
Freshman infielder has a bright future in the Cardinal baseball program. A solid hitter with good power. Gaylord is a natural shortstop, but can also play second and third base if needed. Should be one of the top right-handed bats off the bench this year with a chance to start up the middle down the road. A Southern California native, was an All-State selection as a senior in high school.
