UPDATE: 10:10 AM

Andy Seiler had this to say about the O’s pick:

It’s hard to go wrong when you pick the best available player on almost everyone’s board, and that’s what they did when they got Manny Machado.

Overall thoughts:

The Orioles did exactly what they were expected to do, which was take whoever the Pittsburgh Pirates did not take between Machado and Jameson Taillon. They got the best player available and got themselves what looks like a future all-star shortstop.
