Speedy outfielder, Matt Angle, has been promoted to the Norfolk Tides. Angle was hitting .383 in 60 at-bats with the Bowie Baysox.
In his first game with the Tides Angle went 2 for 4. If another Oriole outfielder goes down with an injury, Angle would be a good option for the Orioles. With excellent defense and an advanced approach at the plate, Angle is almost ready for the big leagues.
I ranked Angle 29th on my top 30 prospect list entering the season. Check out his full page of statistics on minorleaguebaseball.com.
UPDATE: Here’s some more info from MASN.

I love this kid. He could be the heir apparent to Brian Roberts at the top of the O’s line-up.
Agreed. Not as much gap power but flat out gets on base and plays good defense. I’ll take it.
He reminds me of Carl Crawford
I don’t think he’ll be quite the player Crawford is. Won’t steal nearly as many bases and he won’t be the same type of hitter.
Yea but the orioles need 2 get him in the majors i think
