Dean Jones Jr. of the Baltimore Sun is reporting that L.J. Hoes, who was off to a fantastic start, is currently sidelined due to strep throat:
Single-A Frederick Keys second baseman L.J. Hoes is expected to miss a few more days due to strep throat, according to the team.
As the second youngest player in the Carolina League, Hoes has a .414 OBP and 23 walks compared to just 16 strikeouts.
