Good to see Beal pitching well. He is a pitcher that I have been keeping an eye on. If he can develop secondary pitches and add some velocity, he could mature into a super prospect. Thanks for the farm updates everyday, keep’em coming!
He already has a nice breaking ball, adding some more velocity is necessary. I talked with him and his dad for a while at spring training. Beal has been working hard to bulk up and add to his frame. He added 15 pounds then got sick the next week and lost all of it.
And no problem!
Looking back at his baseball America profile and Henson’s (ATL) when they were in there respective 2nd seasons, very similar! Boy, that would be nice if he developed like that!
