Why He’s Here: 7.0 IP (1 GS), 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 12 K, 1 W, 0.00 ERA

Scoop: When I asked my followers on twitter who the pitcher of the week would be the immediate response was Chris Tillman. While Tillman’s no-hitter is easily better than Arrieta’s 7 inning masterpiece, Tillman isn’t actually a “prospect” anymore. When players lose their rookie of the year eligibility, they officially lose their “prospect” status.

Hitter of the Week: Garabez Rosa

Why He’s Here: .409/.435/.636 (9 for 22), 5 2B, 3 RBI, BB, 4 K

Scoop: As one of the few international prospects in the system, it’s nice to see Rosa having a great season so far. If he could start taking some walks…
