Norfolk 1, Durham 10 – Box Score
- Rhyne Hughes went 2 for 4 with a run, a double, a home run, an RBI and a strikeout.
- Scott Moore went 1 for 4.
- Brandon Snyder went 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.
- Josh Bell went 0 for 4 with 4 strikeouts.
Anaysis: All of Norfolk’s prospects have been disappointments so far, Bell, Snyder, Troy Patton and Brandon Erbe. You’re lucky Tillman isn’t a prospect anymore, you don’t want to see his line.
Bowie 0, Akron 4 – Box Score
- Robbie Widlansky went 2 for 3 .
- Brandon Waring went o for 4 with a strikeout.

- Ryan Adams went 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts.
- Zach Britton pitched 6 innings, allowing 8 hits and 4 ER. He walked just one batter and struck out 6.
Analysis: Britton didn’t have a great start, but it wasn’t awful. Besides the ERA, he’s picked up right where he left of last season. He has 15 strikeouts in 16.1 innings, a 4.00 GO/FO and only 3 walks. Impressive.

Analysis: At the beginning of the season I thought Frederick would be the most boring affiliate. With hot starts from Rowell and Avery, Frederick has been the most exciting.

I’m a fan of two teams, Orioles and Reds. Was just on the Reds’ minor league site and saw this link. I’m really enjoying it; good content. You’re doing God’s work:). I’ll be back.
Thanks! Glad you like it! Doug does some great work over at RML as well.
Dalles injury is a killer because he was playing really really well so far.
Yeah, tough loss. Olhman is down as well.
