Analysis: Snyder and Bell continue their struggles, Bell now has 9 strikeouts and no walks. I don’t need to comment on Patton’s start.

• Pedro Florimon Jr. went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and a strikeout.

• Eddie Gamboa pitched 2 scoreless relief innings, allowing 1 hit. He walked 1 batter and struck out 2.
• Wilfrido Perez pitched 1 inning, allowing 2 hits. He struck out 1 batter.

Analysis: Florimon got back on track, he had 2 hits tonight, and 2 total before tonight.

Lynchburg 5, Frederick 2 – Box Score

• Ronnie Welty went 0 for 2 with a run, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.

• Brandon Cooney pitched 1 inning, allowing 3 hits and 1 ER. He struck out 1 batter.

Analysis: Avery and Hoes had to cool off eventually, right? Welty picked up his first 2 walks of the season, and now has 2 walks and 8 strikeouts.

Hagerstown 15, Delmarva 2 – Box Score

• Garabez Rosa went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
• Tyler Kolodny went 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk and a strikeout.
• Jesse Beal pitched 5 innings, allowing 8 hits and 5 ER. He walked 2 batters and struck out 2.

Analysis: Beal couldn’t follow up his Delmarva debut, but he’ll be back. Two walks in one game is actually extremely rare to see from him.
