Analysis: Bell is really, really struggling. He’s now 6 for 27 with 8 strikeouts and no walks, ouch.

Harrisburg 1, Bowie 9 – Box Score

• Robbie Widlansky went 2 for 4 with a run, a double, 2 RBI and a walk.
• Brandon Waring went 2 for 5 with a run, a double and 2 strikeouts.
• Tyler Henson went 1 for 5 with a run, and RBI and a strikeout.
• Ryan Adams went 4 for 5 with a run, 2 doubles and 2 RBI.
• Pedro Florimon Jr. went 1 for 4 with 2 runs, a walk and a strikeout.
• Chorye Spoone pitched 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 1 ER. He walked 4 batters and struck out 1.

Analysis: Adams got back on track tonight after a bad start, a lot of the O’s players feel like he’s in for a breakout year. This is a make or break year for Chorye Spoone. He’s on the 40-man roster and needs to show he deserves the spot.

Myrtle Beach 0, Frederick 6 – Box Score

• Xavier Avery went 2 for 3 with a run, a double, a stolen base and a walk.
• Kyle Hudson went 2 for 4 with a run, an RBI, a walk and a strikeout.
• L.J. Hoes went 1 for 3 with a run.
• Ronnie Welty went 1 for 5 with a strikeout.
• Billy Rowell went 0 for 2 with 3 walks and a strikeout.

Analysis: Another walk for Avery, if he keeps this up, he’ll be a top 100 prospect by the end of the season.

Delmarva 6, Greensboro 4 – Box Score

• T.J. Baxter went 2 for 5 with 2 runs, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and a strikeout.
• Tyler Kelly went 1 for 4 with a walk.
• Levi Carolous went 2 for 4 with a walk and a strikeout.
• Steve Bumbry went 2 for 3 with a run and a double.
• Justin Dalles went 1 for 3 with a run and a walk.
• Garabez Rosa went 1 for 4 with a run and an RBI.
• Matt Hobgood pitched 5.2 innings, allowing 6 hits and 2 ER. He struck out 4 batters and walked none.

Analysis: Rosa, Bumbry and Dalles are tearing up Delmarva. I don’t they will be promoted anytime soon, but I’d expect Dalles to be the first promoted if something happens. Hobgood registered 3 strikeouts in the first innings, but just on in the next 4.2.
